A British 2 1/2d stamps on envelope, cancelled "London 06" and sent to Mr William S. Champ abord the Terra Nova, in Hammerfest Norway. Mr Champ was the leader for the rescue party for the Ziegler Expedition. Arrival postmark "Hammerfest 26.8.05" at reverse. Also a postcard with an image of "S.S. Terra Nova". The Terra Nova was later used in 1910-12 by Captain Scott on his ill-fated attempt to be the first to reach the South Pole
